Accounting Associate

As an Accounting Associate, you will be a part of the Finance & Accounting department in PVcase, working closely with the accounting team and performing day-to-day accounting activities focusing on a few main areas, such as business trip expenses accounting, bank accounting, reconciliation, and external reporting.

As an Accounting Associate, you will support the company’s financial reporting needs by maintaining accounting records and ensuring their timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.

Responsibilities:

● Collect, review, and process business trip documents, prepare related payments, support and answer employee inquiries about business trip policies and processes.

● Perform bank accounting and reconciliation (day-to-day accounting of bank transactions and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness).

● Prepare data and reports to external institutions (statistical reporting, project reporting, etc.).

● Prepare additional accounting tasks as assigned by the team.

● Collect and prepare documents and information about audit inquiries during external audits.

● Participate in developing, reviewing, and continuously improving internal controls, policies, processes, and procedures.

● 2+ years of professional experience in the accounting or finance field.

● Good knowledge and overall understanding of accounting principles and its application.

● Experience in business trip expenses accounting and knowledge of related regulatory legislation in Lithuania is an advantage.

● Experience working with accounting software (experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage).

● Great MS Office (especially MS Excel) skills.

● Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and ability to prioritize tasks.

● Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset while possessing the ability also to work independently.

● Positive/can-do attitude, eagerness to learn and grow, ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

● Proficient in written and verbal English.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Salary Range: 24,000 - 28,800 Eur gross/yearly
