The Supply Chain Officer and Forecast Manager actively ensures a meaningful Forecast to secure timely supply and overall competitiveness of BASF; ensures compliant behavior in the distribution chain; monitors stocks and drives the country organization toward stock efficient behavior.

The Supply Chain Officer and Forecast Manager actively ensures a meaningful Forecast to secure timely supply and overall competitiveness of BASF; ensures compliant behavior in the distribution chain; monitors stocks and drives the country organization toward stock efficient behavior.
Your role
- Leading the Sales & Operations planning meetings to deliver a 36-month forecast using IBP (Integrated Business Planning tool)
- Integrating and reconciling cross-functional input from Marketing, Sales, Controlling, and Supply Chain
- Close contact with the Supply Chain Managers for production planning, imports, and product returns
- Functional contact with the Regional Supply Chain Manager to deliver the requested KPIs, support product exchange, best practices, projects, and innovations
- Managing logistics processes and providers to deliver efficient service and ensure fulfillment of service level agreements
- Ensuring adherence to business rules and fulfillment of Supply Chain KPI targets with special focus on inventory management and risk mitigation
- Overseeing customer service tasks such as customer order management, deliveries, and invoicing
- Managing service providers for warehousing and transportation in alignment with Supply Chain, Procurement, and business functions
- Coordinating local logistics services and activities such as relabeling
- Acting as the local contact for Supply Chain related topics, such as changes in packages and labels
- Managing non-conformance issues
- Serving as a SAP Key User to support the organization in SAP-related projects and testing
- Managing sample management tasks
What is expected
- 5+ years of experience in related role within Supply Chain, Forecasting or Logistic is considered as an advantage
- University Degree
- Broad experience in SAP and MS Excel would be an advantage
- Customer-focused, modern thinking and proactive personality
- Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment, advanced communication skills, attention to details, planning skills, adaptable and quick thinking
- Team player with an excellent people skill
- Fluent Lithuanian and English (both written and spoken)
