ESG MANAGER TO PLAY A CENTRAL ROLE IN DANSPIN’S SUSTAINABILITY AGENDA

Do you possess a strong operational insight, that enables you to identify and monitor environmental impact associated with manufacturing processes as well as across the entire value chain? Can you perform inspection and screening of own operations (processes and facilities) and identify, analyse, and prioritize ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) initiatives and projects? Can you collect and consolidate data for decision-making and performance tracking? Then you might be the ESG Manager that we are looking for.

WHAT YOU WILL BE JOINING
You will be part of our spinning factory UAB Danspin located in Raseiniai, Lithuania with appr. 500 employees. The factory is a subsidiary of the international Group operating in line with the European standards. In your daily work, you will have close contact with the Group ESG office in Danmark. You will play a central role in translating our overall sustainability program into concrete, tangible initiatives to ensure successful implementation. Consequently, you will refer to UAB Danspin’s Director located in Lithuania as well as Product Compliance and Sustainability Manager located in Denmark.

ROLE OBJECTIVES

• Ensure implementation of the environmental projects and activities at UAB Danspin
  
• Facilitate and support the local ESG team ensuring implementation progress

WHAT WILL YOUR NEXT JOB BE ABOUT

• Collect, consolidate and analyse metrics within energy consumption, identifying and implementing impact mitigation targets and activities
  
• Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards (EU REACH Regulation, PROP 65 and similar)
  
• Map water withdrawal, consumption, and discharge by identifying and implementing projects to mitigate water-related issues (focus on recycle and re-use)
  
• Map waste types, develop and implement waste minimisation, and re-use activities
  
• Contribute to mapping Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, initially focusing on Scope 1 inventory
  
• Develop and maintain local management system (standards, procedures and reporting around successful annual non-financial (ESG) disclosures, 3rd party assurance process
  

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW COLLEAGUE WHO

• Has a background preferably within environmental science, sustainability study, manufacturing, technical or similar
  
• Has experience in Environmental Management and Sustainability field from a business with own production
  
• Is equipped with a robust toolbox within data collection and project management
  
• Is a strong Excel user, and preferably have experience with Navision and or Business Central
  
• Is fluent in both Lithuanian and English, both orally and in writing
