As our new Internal Auditor, you will:
- Performing and controlling the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans.
- Review processes, systems and controls to identify any weaknesses.
- Perform controls testing to assess the operating effectiveness of the control environment.
- Preparing and presenting reports that reflect the audit’s results and document process.
- Performing control over the elimination of deficiencies identified during the internal audit and the implementation of internal audit recommendations.
- Acting as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
- Identifying loopholes and recommending risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Maintaining open communication with management and board members.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
- Proven working experience as Internal Auditor.
- Strong internal control, risk management and internal audit experience.
- Excellent knowledge of legal requirements applicable to payment institutions.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulation.
- Fluent in English.
