Junior Data Analyst (Anti Piracy)

The Associate Analyst will collect, review, and analyze data to protect our global clientele from illegitimate activity online. This position will effectively and efficiently use proprietary technology to detect and remove infringing content. The Associate Analyst will review and analyze large data sets, to generate professional reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position:

· Use multiple technologies to detect, analyze, and remove infringing online content.
· Collect, consolidate, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Carry on responsibility for dedicated client projects or operations processes and ensure project or process day to day activities are running in accordance with contracts and agreed Service and Operational Level agreements.
· Formulate and effectively communicate data-driven recommendations focused on client needs.
· Collaborate with team members globally to solve requests, prioritize ad-hoc projects, and implement approaches to identified business problems.
· Generate standard and custom reports.
· Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, including escalation of related incidents as required.
· Identify areas for operational performance improvement and lead resulting initiative implementation.
· Stay updated with latest industry trends, data analysis techniques and tools.
· Act as subject matter expert by client, industry, vertical, platform and/or process including participating in company-wide or departmental projects as required.
· Aggregate data or process improvements and provide feedback to engineering team to drive service or efficiency improvements. Participate in testing and UAT as needed.
· Communicates with clients and cross-functional departments to support findings as needed.
· Address urgent client or incident requirements as key point of escalation within team. Drive further escalation & problem solving when required.
· Focus on individualized tasks for extended periods of time.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Excellent English skills in both verbal and written forms
· Able to work fulltime on site & in shifts: Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, Sun-Thu
· Strong written, verbal and computer communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Mid to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables/charts)
· Ability to prioritize and successfully work to deadlines.
· Must have the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, be self-motivated, be able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
· Flexibility to accommodate ever-changing working environment and demands placed upon it.
· Ability to thrive in a culture where teamwork, empowerment and dedication is of utmost importance.
· Advanced analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and drive insights to influence business and client decisions.
