• Facilitates implementation of enhancements or changes to existing monitoring and observability solutions, by helping translate business needs into functional requirements
  
• Collaborate with internal groups to meet their monitoring and observability requirements
  
• Assist in support and resolution of Incidents and requests for monitoring and observability
  
• Assist in the creation and conformance to standards
  
• Assist in the creation of documentation policies and guidelines
  
• Follow corporate change management policies
  
• Participate in team meetings
  
• Escalates problems as needed to ensure timely resolution
  
• Recommend changes/enhancements for improved solution availability, reliability and performance
  
• Ensure documentation is developed and maintained
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
• Create custom monitoring/integrations as required
  
• Submit and execute changes following the change control processes
  
• Assist in the support/implementation of corporate and group initiatives/projects
  
• Train and present to team members and others
  
• Create programs/scripts to automate routine actions
  
• Create SQL queries to collect information
  
• Create/modify dashboards
  
• Use API calls to gather/post information
  
• Create/modify/maintain integrations of monitoring and observability solutions

• Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field
  
• Min. 5 years of relevant IT work experience.
  
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions
  
• Strong experience with Windows and Unix-based systems and command-line interfaces
  
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
  
• Experience with databases and SQL queries
  
• Experience with general IT concepts beyond their primary discipline
  
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good interpersonal skills; effective team player
  
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
  
• Good presentation skills
  
• Ability to prioritize load.
  
• Technical leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  
• Understanding of ITSM
  
• Strong experience with Azure preferred.
  
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing preferred.
