We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced payroll accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
You should find interesting to:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records of employee wages, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and manage required personell documentation.
- Compiles, prepares, enters, and verifies payroll information feeds to produce timely and accurate paychecks for 250+ employees
- Check all payroll calculations to make sure employees are paid correctly for their regular work hours, overtime, holidays, vacations, and so on, following the laws in Lithuania.
Skills to succeed in this position:
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong 2+ years of experience working in payroll accounting or a similar role.
- Detail orientation and thoroughness.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
