Reporting to the Senior Manager of Procurement, the Buyer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the eProcurement system. This role supports operationalizing global procurement policy and related processes to improve efficiency in a rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities include monitoring and processing requests and inquiries related to procurement processes. Review and analyze purchase requisitions and request forms for data accuracy and integrity. Support the EMEA indirect procurement needs and perform project process improvement tasks as assigned.

About the Role:

  • Generate, adjust, and expedite purchase orders
  • Support global and regional purchasing and Supplier Relationship Management strategies
  • Create contracts, supplier catalogs, and punchouts in the system as required
  • Manage the supplier contract lifecycle and ensure that contractual obligations are met
  • Source goods and services from suppliers
  • Run and analyze reports
  • Be responsible for maintaining the procurement support email inbox and supporting end users with their requests and inquiries.
  • Respond to approval requests in the eProcurement system by reviewing required documents and communicating with requesters and stakeholders to fulfill internal approval and policy requirements.
  • Process new suppliers, bid exception requests, and other forms in the system.
  • Guide end users with ad hoc requests such as setting up reports in the eProcurement system, profile setting adjustment, system navigation training, etc.
  • Run integration and other reports in the ERP system and coordinate with other functional areas to resolve errors and update with new information.
  • Assist with contract retention efforts in the eProcurement system. Guide end users on the process as needed.
  • Maintain supplier information and good data by closing or re-opening purchase orders, deactivating suppliers, performing user access analysis, and other data cleanup activities as assigned.
  • Participate in various procurement process improvement projects and performs other tasks as assigned.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the procurement field: knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes, experience in conducting spend analysis, and resolving issues in a creative and effective way
  • Experience using ERP systems & Business Spend Management applications (e.g. Coupa)
  • Experience in purchasing Indirect spending categories
  • Experience in Customer Service and contract management
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and ability to negotiate typical business terms with suppliers

Monthly base salary for this position is from €2,202.92 to €2,591.67 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
