SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER FOR OFFSHORE SUBSTATION (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and support the Offshore Substation (OSS) package in all activities related to the civil/structural design, certification and procurement of the Offshore Substation for an offshore wind project in the Lithuanian Baltic Sea. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• Develop project specifications, requirements, and tender documents
• Participate in bid preparation, including cost estimation and technical proposal development
• Collaborate with the project team to understand developer requirements and constraints
• Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather relevant data for tender submissions
• Revision design for the offshore substation structure and foundations ensuring employer requirements fulfilment and other mandatory regulations
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, etc.) to integrate subsystem designs into the overall structure
• Propose solutions to design issues and make modifications as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders and regulatory authorities
• Resolve technical queries and coordinate fabrication contractors
• Ensure risks are addressed / reported, mitigation actions determined, and risks are minimized or closed out
• Act as the focal point within the OSS Team for all the technical interfaces (regarding Structure) with the OSS designer and external consulting companies.

Salary range for this position group is 3436 to 5155 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
