About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of Trade Matching team at Middle Office Solutions, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:
- Reviewing, exception processing, break escalation/resolution and subsequent affirmation of trades between the client & executing counterparty on trade date prioritizing trades based on KPI’s set by senior manager & client, trade age, Instrument type, market, broker
- Ensuring accurate trade booking and affirmations within internal, 3rd party & client Order Management System. Resolution of any trade differences on trades that have not processed straight through the process Exception Processing)
- Liaising daily with counterparties via email & telephone to ensure both parties have the trade captured accurately (Manual Affirmations)
- Monitoring the settlement of listed products, reviewing Settlements/Fails reports & providing assistance to resolve settlement breaks, liaising with the executing broker for resolution & if required escalation to client
- Effectively communicating with the other business units such as Collateral Management, OTC Treasury Settlements, Operations, Fund Accounting, Product Control Team and Risk & Valuation on a daily basis
- Producing and delivering to the clients midday and EOD reports highlighting the reason for all outstanding trades and settlements
- Relationship development and professional communication with the clients, Prime and Executing Brokers
About You:
- 1-2+ Years in Financial services, Corporate Environment or similar job experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative subjects desirable
- Interested in Financial Services relating to both listed & OTC derivative instruments
- Strong Customer Service, analytical and problem solving skills
- Committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail focused and exhibit good time management with ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented and dynamic environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and source information from numerous systems, with proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong Business English both by written and verbal communication
- Comfortable communicating with clients and counterparties via e-mail and phone
- Advantages: knowledge of Hedge and Mutual Funds, knowledge & interest in financial products, such as, but not limited to Products Equity, Fixed Income, Swap, FX, & ETD
