Our group consists of several departments (companies), and currently we are inviting to join our Finance & Accounting department (FO Compliance UAB).
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Team Lead of Accounting with a focus on Real Estate accounting to play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate accounting, strong team manegement skills, and a thorough understanding of industry-specific accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- General accounting: Carry out day to day accounting operations, prepare annual financial statements, oversee annual tax returs.
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the clients‘ overall objectives.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficient and accurate day-to-day financial operations.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, providing insights to the executive team for decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Drive the annual budgeting process and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals of our clients.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring a smooth and successful audit process.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management after graduate.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree and/or CPA preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (VAS, IFRS), regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English at least B level).
