Are you a technical expert who loves solving problems and helping others? Paysera is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. At Paysera, you'll leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this role, you'll get to flex your technical muscles debugging code, resolving client issues, and consulting colleagues. If you're fluent in HTML, SQL, REST APIs, PHP, and more, we want to hear from you!
Your key responsibilities:
- Create tasks for the development teams and supplement newly created tasks by non-technical colleagues by adding additional code oriented context;
- Diagnose and solving simpler issues;
- Communicate with clients via email regarding technical questions;
- Consult non-technical co-workers on Paysera services from a technical stand-point;
- Monitor system health and communicate with the IT teams when an issue or downtime is recognized.
What we're looking for:
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP requests and responses;
- Database data selection with SQL;
- Simple debugging experience and understanding of exceptions;
- General Javascript, HTML knowledge and rudimentary understanding of how to use a browser’s developer tools;
- Basic knowledge of CLI (Shell (Terminal) commands);
- Familiarity with PHP (Symfony would be an advantage; Laravel applicable as well);
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-Have:
- Any experience with CMS (Wordpress, Prestashop, OpenCart, Magento);
- Experience in system monitoring (tools such as Grafana, Graylog);
- Reading and writing technical documentation;
- Understanding of how to use Git;
- Experience with administration panels and user management;
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management systems;
- Ability to translate technical information in a way that non-technical people (Client Support, merchants, accountants, managers, etc.) can understand.
