We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us build and maintain a reliable, efficient testing process across our product. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain our automation framework and automated tests using Python and Playwright, while actively contributing to code reviews with an eye toward mentoring junior engineers.
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop an automated testing framework from scratch using Python and Playwright.
- Write, refactor, and optimise test scenarios and supporting functions in line with internal QA coding standards and rules.
- Debug failed tests, set up clear test reporting.
- Maintain the test suite by updating flaky tests, archiving obsolete tests, adjusting execution schedules, and selecting suitable open-source libraries and plugins.
- Participate actively in code reviews, support junior engineers, and collaborate with the team to ensure product quality and reliability before production releases.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain high product reliability.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong knowledge of Python (2+ years) and practical experience writing automation code.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (2+ years) for browser automation and E2E testing.
- Ability to design and build an automated testing framework from scratch.
- Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD
- Solid Git knowledge
- Professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
