Main Responsibilities:
VMG Lignum – a part of VMG Group – develops and supplies engineered wood products for modern, sustainable construction. As we expand into new international markets, we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Managers in the German market.
- Develop business opportunities for prefab construction solutions in the Scandinavian market.
- Identify and approach new clients, partners and construction projects.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with developers, contractors, architects or other business partners.
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Coordinate customer projects together with internal engineering, production and logistics teams.
- Represent VMG Lignum at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights that contribute to product and business development.
To Succeed in This Position, You Will Need:
- Experience with construction, prefab or technical B2B products.
- Understanding of property development processes and project delivery.
- Experience in project management, including timeline, risk and budget management.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of a Scandinavian language would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel for business.
- Being based in Scandinavia would be considered a strong advantage.
