Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the company and the Baltic group of companies, ensuring sustainable growth, competitiveness, and market leadership.
- Lead the overall business operations across the Baltic countries, ensuring the achievement of financial targets, profitability goals, and operational performance objectives.
- Make strategic decisions regarding investments, growth initiatives, business priorities, and transformation programs.
- Ensure effective financial management, budget control, business performance analysis, and the long-term financial stability of the organization.
- Drive organizational transformation by implementing innovative solutions, new technologies, process automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Lead the execution of retail, wholesale, and e-commerce strategies while ensuring the effectiveness of the trading network across all Baltic markets.
- Develop and oversee assortment, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, and logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Ensure continuous improvement of customer experience and maintain high customer service standards that strengthen the company’s market position.
- Manage operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and corporate governance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, the Board, strategic partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders, representing the organization across the Baltic region.
- Lead and develop the senior leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture, talent development, and effective people management.
- Strengthen the organization’s reputation, employer brand, corporate culture, and social responsibility initiatives.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of senior executive leadership experience within a large organization, preferably in retail, wholesale, or broader commerce-related sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and executing business strategies, driving organizational growth, and leading business transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple business functions, including commercial operations, finance, supply chain, operations, IT, and human resources.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, investment evaluation, and business performance analysis capabilities.
- Experience working closely with Boards of Directors, shareholders, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large leadership teams, develop senior talent, and build a high-performance organizational culture.
- Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and change management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to represent the organization at a regional level and maintain long-term business partnerships.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; Russian language skills would be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset, results orientation, entrepreneurial approach, and the ability to succeed in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
