UNITY Logistics Scandinavia is expanding its operations in Lithuania and is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and further develop the local business.
This is a key role for a commercially minded logistics professional who can combine operational management, team leadership, and business development.

Your responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the freight forwarding business in the Baltic market;
- Build and lead the local team, including attracting experienced people from the market;
- Take responsibility for the local P&L, including revenue, margins, costs, working capital, and credit control;
- Grow the customer base and develop long-term relationships with key clients;
- Set up practical processes that support efficient day-to-day operations and further growth;
- Track the main commercial and operational KPIs and act on the results;
- Work closely with the international management team on business development and key decisions.
We expect you to have:
- At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, road transport, or logistics, with a good understanding of the Baltic market;
- Experience growing a forwarding business and taking it to the next stage;
- Experience building a team from the ground up;
- A strong network in the logistics market, with established relationships among both customers and industry professionals;
- Solid commercial and financial understanding, including P&L, pricing, margins, working capital, and credit control;
- Experience in international road freight; experience working with Scandinavian customers or markets would be an advantage;
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and willingness to take responsibility for business results.
