About the job
As a Community Manager you'll play a crucial role in our Acceleration program, planning and implementing initiatives that build community engagement, organising events and managing program communications. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, this role is tailored for you.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting the Communications Manager in attracting new participants to the program.
- Coordinating the participant selection process.
- Analyzing the engagement and needs of the Acceleration Program's participants and alumni communities.
- Exercising creative freedom in developing and implementing strategies to enhance program involvement and satisfaction.
- Conceptualizing, organizing, and coordinating program events, as well as tracking and improving event engagement.
- Managing incoming and outgoing communications through various channels and tools.
- Scouting, collecting, and documenting program’s impact stories.
- Efficiently maintaining and updating databases, records, and files.
- Collaborating closely with the Acceleration Program Team Lead to ensure seamless program operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in community, events, or communications management.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, managing multiple tasks with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Possess self-confidence, flexibility, and a consistently positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
