Job description

We are seeking a Compliance Officer Baltics to join the IKEA Retail Baltic organization. You will be a member of the Risk and Compliance team, working across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to ensure corporate governance, effective internal control, proactive risk management, and implementation of sustainable and responsible business practices.

In this role, you will ensure that the company operates in line with applicable laws, internal policies, and ethical standards by preventing, detecting, and advising on compliance risks across all three Baltic markets.

What you will be doing as a Compliance Officer Baltics:

• Ensuring compliance management, monitoring implementation and control, and maintaining regulatory readiness;
• Owning the internal control framework, including regulatory compliance, internal compliance, fraud control, and internal investigations;
• Developing and maintaining compliance policies, overseeing the full policy landscape, identifying gaps, and initiating updates;
• Managing the speak-up platform, ensuring up-to-date processes, leading Baltic and complex investigations, and maintaining risk oversight;
• Delivering training within the organization on compliance-related topics;
• Overseeing sanction screening implementation, reporting, and control measures;
• Advising on and managing risks related to conflict of interest, anti-corruption, fraud prevention, and third-party risk management.

At IKEA we will love you from the first day, but we will adore you if you have :

• At least three years of relevant experience as a Compliance Officer or Auditor and a university degree;
• Ability to work in a national Baltic language (Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian) and English;
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, combined with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset;
• A down-to-earth attitude aligned with IKEA values;
• High level of responsibility and self-motivation;
• Clear and simple communication skills;
• Integrity, reliability, and strong ethical standards;

Salary: 5000,00 €/ month gross, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
