Since they are entering the next phase of growth, a new Cybersecurity Engineer position has been established in their Vilnius headquarters. This is a practical, technically involved role combining SecOps responsibilities, cloud security, incident management, and regulatory alignment within a regulated banking environment. The position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and enhance the ICT Risk Management Framework and ensure regulatory compliance (DORA, EBA, NIS2, GDPR).
- Design, implement and improve security controls and standards aligned with NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP and Zero Trust.
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security events and incidents (SIEM/XDR, cloud and perimeter security); coordinate with SOC partners.
- Embed security-by-design with IT/DevOps (IaC, secure configurations), run vulnerability scanning, risk assessments and track remediation.
- Support and follow up on penetration/resilience testing and TLPT activities; review access control, encryption, logging and cloud security settings.
- Perform third‑party ICT risk assessments, maintain supplier register, and contribute to security policies, BCP/DR, threat intelligence and awareness/training.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Practical understanding of incident response, SecOps processes, and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security (AWS and Azure).
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (e.g., Terraform) and secure cloud configuration principles.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial institutions (DORA, EBA, NIS2, GDPR); practical familiarity with DORA obligations is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
- Ability to write clear, structured security documentation and translate security requirements into practical controls.
- Strong analytical thinking and risk-based decision-making skills.
- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English (verbal and written).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
