Responsibilities:
- Perform daily General Ledger accounting activities, including posting journal entries, assisting with accounts reconciliations and following up on aged accrual accounts
- Process fixed assets lifecycle tasks, including assets changes and capitalization
- Gather and prepare data for internal and external financial and statistical reports
- Process employees expense claim
- Prepare internal costs re-invoicing files by gathering accounting data and applying applicable financial requirements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including internal and external audit
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) and internal policies, consistently meeting set targets
- Ensure assigned tasks are performed efficiently and with professional manner
- Suggest continuous improvement ideas for RTR processes
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant and the Line Manager
- Act as a back up specialist in case of colleagues' absence.
Profile:
- Ongoing or finished studies in finance, mathematics, statistics (or related discipline)
- Relevant and/or similar work experience within accounting field is an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge
- Eager to learn and grow professionally
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset
- Very good English language skills, both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are an asset
- Eligible to work in Lithuania (the role is based in Lithuania)
