Internal Audit Senior Officer

You will participate actively with IA Managers or Team Leads to perform internal audit assignments from planning phase to report issuance using a risk-based approach, covering the range of Alter Domus operations;
You will contribute to designing and executing financial, operational, and technology audit programs that target high-risk areas in the company's controls, systems, and processes;
You will perform assigned tests to verify that operations are conducted in accordance with company’s policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements;
You will apply relevant audit procedures to assess the design and operating effectiveness of applicable internal controls;
You will identify gaps and areas for improvement and evaluate their significance and potential business impact to improve process effectiveness;
You will work with responsible owners to formulate audit issues with concrete actions and feasible timelines;
You will prepare concise, clear and accurate audit reports to document your findings;
You will work closely with auditees to follow up on audit issues and track remediation progress;
You will collaborate with and educate process owners regarding the importance of maintaining strong internal controls and the role of internal audit;
You will support other internal audit activities and special projects as required.

You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics - would be considered an advantage;
You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial services;
Big 4 accountancy background, qualified ACCA/CIA/CISA will be considered as an asset;
Sound knowledge of current internal audit standards and regulatory expectations;
You are fluent in English;
You possess team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act without waiting for direction (when appropriate);
2 to 4 years of experience in internal or external audit, including experience of technology and systems in internal audit/internal controls risk management are advantage.

Monthly base salary for this position is from 2670 EUR to 3670 EUR gross. Final offer will be determined based on your competences, qualifications and professional experiences.
