Networking and IoT Engineer | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a Networking and IoT Engineer to strengthen our ambitious technical support team in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your skills.



Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.



In this role, you will:

• Advise customers on how to use our products within their solutions, and solve their challenges related to Teltonika Networks products, both in writing and during online meetings.
• Collaborate with technical support colleagues in Teltonika's international offices by providing ongoing support, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to ensure high-quality technical assistance across regions.
• Act as a key link between Teltonika Networks R&D and other departments or customers, facilitating the resolution of complex technical challenges.
• Self-sufficiently resolve technical issues arising from customer's configuration, firmware/software, other sources.
• Gain hands-on experience with Linux based OS, industrial protocols, various networking services and protocols and occasional 3rd party peripherals.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external use (e.g., Teltonika Wiki).

What we expect of you:

• Good communication skills and etiquette both in speaking and writing.
• Ability and motivation to provide support to others.
• Experience in 2nd or 3rd line technical support would be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge in Computer Networking (TCP/IP, OSI models, Routing, Firewall, VLAN’s and other networking protocols).
• Proficiency in English (advanced user level), knowledge of other languages would be considered an advantage.
• Higher or equivalent technical / engineering education would be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge or certification in CCNA or similar courses would be considered an advantage.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 14 Eur/h up to 18 Eur/h (~2340 Eur—3000 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

• In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
