QA Engineer

About the Job
We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help us deliver a fast, stable, and reliable Octohide VPN experience - across the iOS and Android apps, website, and internal systems. In this role, you'll own end-to-end feature testing across the full product ecosystem, identifying and reporting issues before they ever reach our users. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a genuine curiosity about how digital products work, and feel at home in a technical environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Test Octohide VPN across iOS and Android apps, the website, and internal systems.
  
• Document and track bugs clearly, and communicate findings effectively with developers and the product team.
  
• Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and test plans to ensure consistent, thorough coverage.
  
• Participate in release cycles, verify fixes, and sign off on quality before every update goes live.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of IT concepts and how mobile applications and web products work.
  
• Attention to detail and a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
  
• Eagerness to grow - whether in manual testing, automation, or both.
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (PHP, Java, Python, etc.).
  
• Experience with manual QA testing on mobile apps.
  
• Comfort using command-line tools.
  
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and where QA fits in.
  
• Knowledge of VPN protocols, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  
• Experience testing across multiple OS versions, devices, and configurations.
