The opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Audit Assistant to join our dynamic Audit team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to assess their financial operations and provide valuable insights to enhance their business performance. You will interact with multiple organizations, across different industries, and across different countries, to gain unique insights into how business operates.
Your key responsibilities
- Leading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
- Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills in areas including revenue, financial instruments and income taxes.
- Engaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
- Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
- Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible.
Attributes to thrive in the role
- Experience in external financial audit.
- A degree in an accounting, finance or business discipline.
- Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
- Great communication and team management skills.
- Excellent technical expertise with proven industry knowledge in either Real Estate, Products & services, Technology Media and Telecoms, etc.
- Experience in IFRS.
- Fluent in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
