Senior IT Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions within a complex, multi-system environment. In this role, you will analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes, lead discovery workshops, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and product managers to identify opportunities, manage dependencies and risks, and support the delivery of scalable solutions throughout the product lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and requirements engineering skills, combined with the ability to bring clarity to complex and ambiguous situations.


What you will do:

• Analyze current and future business processes to identify optimization, automation, and digitalization opportunities.
• Assess how processes are supported across systems and teams, and define improvements that deliver business value.
• Facilitate workshops to identify business needs, pain points, gaps, and solution opportunities.
• Analyze process, system, and data flows to define business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, process models, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Identify dependencies, risks, impacts, and implementation considerations across processes and systems.
• Bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support backlog management, prioritization, requirements refinement, solution validation, and releases.

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role in complex business and IT environments.
• Strong ability to analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes across functions and systems.
• Experience analyzing process, system, and data flows to identify improvements and solution requirements.
• Experience leading requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong requirements engineering skills, including functional requirements, business rules, user stories, process models, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause, gap, dependency, and risk analysis.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or undefined requirements and processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data exchange.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Base monthly salary: from 3630 to 4540 EUR (before tax). The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role.
