Job Description Summary:

This is not a traditional internship or bootcamp.

Step into The Academy and step up to your future at Rocket Software - where success leads directly to permanent engineering opportunities.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Work on hands‑on projects inspired by real Rocket Software products and platforms

Gain exposure to enterprise‑scale systems, production constraints, and real‑world trade‑offs

Collaborate with other Academy participants, mentors and experienced engineers on cross-team challenges

Deliver an end-to-end project demonstrating engineering ownership, reasoning and technical depth

What You’ll Experience

Structured, hands-on learning: A 6-month, full-time, paid program combining technical training with practical application

An AI augmented engineering mindset - AI as a force multiplier, not a replacement for fundamentals

A high learning pace - you will be challenged and supported at the same time

Exposure to real engineering problems, not academic simulations

Close mentorship from experienced engineers and technical leaders

A clear pathway into a full-time Software Engineer role at Rocket Software upon successful completion

Requirements

Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strong willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to AI tools, LLMs or AI-assisted development workflows

Familiarity with Linux-based development environment

Experience using Git, testing frameworks, or CI/CD pipelines

Personal, academic, or career‑transition projects demonstrating hands‑on development

Who You Are
