Vyr. technologas (-ė) (Chief technologist)

At UAB “Elme metalas”, you will be responsible for:
Full technical aspects of hot-dip galvanizing process (pre-treatment, fluxing, dipping, post-treatment);
Establishment and supervision of technological regulations (specifications, parameter limits, quality criteria);
Zinc bath and chemistry management (temperature, alloying, slag/ash control, bath longevity);
Monitoring and reducing zinc consumption per ton;
QC laboratory operations and quality control (coating thickness, adhesion, surface quality);
Compliance with EN ISO 1461, EN ISO 14713, and customer requirements;
Technical customer support and complaint analysis (CAPA system);
Compliance with environmental regulations (IED, REACH, AAA);
Implementation of technological improvements and process optimization;
Providing technological guidance and support to the production team.

We believe you will succeed best if you:
Hold a university degree in metallurgy, materials science, or chemical engineering;
Have at least 8 years of experience in metallurgical or chemical processes (including ≥5 years in hot-dip galvanizing);
Have excellent knowledge of EN ISO 1461 and EN ISO 14713 standards;
Have practical experience working with zinc baths;
Can analyze processes, make decisions, and take responsibility;
Can work independently and collaborate effectively with the production manager;
Speak English fluently, Lithuanian – expected to be acquired through the company-supported language courses (Russian is considered an advantage);
Are results-oriented, quality-focused, and committed to continuous improvement;
Experience working under EU environmental regulations (IED, REACH) is considered an advantage.
